Resignation ....

The last day of the first month of the year was my last day working with Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad. I was there for 4 months and i enjoyed my days there accompanied by a bunch of nice people but there are a few annoying ones too. I had 3 farewell lunch, the first one was at Bodhi Tree, which is a western restaurant at Jalan Dang Wangi, the second want was at Secret recipe and the last one was at Mojo Restaurant & Bar at No 42 Jalan Doraisamy Asian Heritage Row. Does the name Mojo sounds Japanese to you? When i first heard it i thought it is a Japanese restaurant but it turns out to be a western restaurant. That place is called the heritage row because they converted all those old shop lots there into a very classic looking restaurant but at the same time they preserve the origin of the building. Sorry i forgot to take pictures or else the pictures will illustrate better then my description....hehe.

This is basically how i ended my last day with ABMB. If you wonder why did i choose to leave where i am so comfortable there. The reason being is that my superior wanted to transfer me to the PJ hub which is located at Section 13 or 14 there. I tried to explained to them that i am not mobile and taking public transport there is really disastrous. After listening to my problems they said they will consider and get back to me and few days later i was called to the room and the answer given was:

Steve, after a long discussion you still have to go there la cos we really need you there, we have no other options. I wasn't too happy hearing such an answer so i told her that since this is the case my resignation would be inevitable and she accepted it. What is the point of working there where it would cause a grave inconvenience to me and working with someone that you are not in the position to bargain with hence out of frustration i decided to quit and i am jobless now which means I would have a longer CNY holiday break this year.

Oral sex...............

After reading the one of the article published in the Sun Newspaper last week on abolition of oral sex as an offense ignited me to write something on this. I am so convince that all of you knows what is oral sex in which i don't have to defined what it is but again there is no harm putting down the right definition in case any of you have interpreted it other manner. Oral sex consists of all sexual activities that involve the use of the mouth, which may include use of the tongue, teeth, and throat, to stimulate genitalia. I wanted to upload some picture here for further illustration but i think it would be to explicit.

Oral sex has become an alternative sex which gains a lot of popularity in recent years and some people regard it as foreplay and i found out that many unmarried young couples enjoy doing it as this is a type of sex which doesn't require penetration to the vaginal and its almost 0% risk of pregnancy.

Apart form that do you all know that this so called "sex' is a criminal offense under the Penal code. S377B dictates that any carnal intercourse against the order of nature is an of fence and anyone found guilty of this will be imprisonment for 20 years and fine or whipping. If you are wondering what is unnatural sex here is the answer. Unnatural sex consists of sodomy, oral sex and bestiality. A lot of people are not aware of this provision and never knew the existence of such statue. This is a very arcade statute as it was drafted in the 18th century based on the bible ( the story of Sodom & Gomorrah)

Is the fear haunting you now knowing that performing consensual oral sex itself its an offense. Some people were saying that this is my private life and it is consensual and what is so wrong about it till i have to be prosecuted? But again this is the law and we have to adhere to it whether we like it or not. Therefore there is a calling for the abolition of such provision in the penal code. I would think that the calling for the removal of the provision which constitutes oral sex as an offense is something that we should be looking forward too. To me removing the oral sex as an offense is good but it could be better if the Parliament would be able to remove the entire section 377B in the penal code as the word natural is really misleading and subjective as we are not able to defined what is natural and unnatural.

But as at this time S377B is still stand as the law at the present stage so those who are actively and enjoying it should reconsider whether to call it for a stop until such provision is being repeal...haha. Anyway how many of you are advocating that this provision should be repeal as it is no longer relevant in today's context as Singapore has already repeal it or else 90-95% of Malaysian would be charge to fill in the space in the prisons.

Is there Certainty......

Is there certainty in the our life's or even the world we are living? To me there is no certainty, life is just like today's weather. It can be very sunny in the morning but in the evening we start hearing the thunder storm, the lightning strike and heavy pours everywhere.

I was asked to report duty in Section 13 PJ on Tues (15/1/2008) on Friday with such a short notice, and i made myself clear that i do not intend to be transferred there but it seems that my wish are not being taken into consideration and no one bothers to listen to me. However i have anticipated that this is going to happen very soon but i never thought it will be so soon. Hence after i deep consideration and anger in me as i am the only chosen one to be there whilst the other two remain in where they are i feel that i am being oppress and i couldn't take this unfairness and discrimination hence i decided to convey my unwillingness to be posted there and tender my resignation verbally.

A lot of people say that i am too impulsive in making such a decision but i detest, because i know i am not and i know the consequences of doing that, the reason behind my decision is that transferring me to PJ will cause a grave inconvenience to me and financially unsound.

Then i started to wonder and ponder over the fundamental principal of law which is, law must be certain. How can law be certain when things are changing and evolving through the passage of time. No one would expect that Dr Chua to be the hero in the DVD and tender his resignation over night as a Health Minister. Benazir Bhutto was assassinated etc etc. Life is just like the boat sailing in the sea at the mercy of the wind.

My cell leader asked me a question, will you marry a girl who is a non believer but you really love her. for your information it is against the bible to yoke with the unyoke. Not being too spiritualize and honestly yours truly here answer in an affirmative that i will consider marrying her despite the fact that she is a non believer, i thought he is gonna counsel me for this as this will not be an answer that a cell leader would wanna hear from his cell member. Surprisingly he say it is true he would do the same too.

At times it would be too far fetch to plan things ahead us, but do not get me wrong as i am not suggesting of not having any plan in life but its just that we can plan but whether the outcome is something we desire is two different thing. Look at the bright side how boring or mundane would life be if ever thing is so certain, i think our life would not be so exciting anymore hence the uncertainty in life is like spices that make our life be more adventurous and colourful.

Open Minded

A lot of things have changed over the years, thanks to the technology and the inventors who make this earth a better place for us. Today everything is evolving without us realizing it. I had a tea session few friends and i begin to wonder whether am i a frog under the coconut shell? A girl friend of mine began the conversation by commenting on my hairy hand. According to her this is really rare for a Chinese to be so hairy and i have to admit that i am hairy but of course the conversation doesn't stop. The subsequent question was, does it mean that if a guy is hairy the other hidden part of the anatomy be will that hairy too and my humble opinion is that it depends as it is not absolute.

After all those nonsense the next question was that is it true that guys think about sex in every 2 minutes. What nonsense is this? I confess that guys do thinks about sex and have sexual fantasy but having in every 2 minutes its just ridiculous cos this is not called sexual fantasy but sex maniac and who are urgently in need or psychological treatment. What surprises me was there a few girls who openly without any fear confessed that they watch pron ( Mind you it's 5 star rated pron some more don't pray pray) I never talk about sex and sharing all this with girls cos i always think its so inappropriate for a guy to talk about sex with girls. I was told by them that i am so conservative and i have to leave my jungle mentality and start to adopt this 2008 culture.

The passage of time has change, now pornographic is not exclusively tailored for men to satisfied their lust. What a joke, when women are fighting for equal rights and all those feminist movement around the world saying that women are being oppress. Aren't porn a way of showing that women are subordinating to men? According to Catherine Mckinon porn should be ban as this is an oppression of women as she uses the phrase " men are the fucker and women are the fuckee" and all of learned ladies friend are boosting the porn industry by purchasing the Western, Thai, Indian, Japan and Malay porn.

It is most often then not that men always thinks about sex but i was told by them that women also thinks about sex just that the the frequency of men are slightly higher then women. I am said to be not open enough to share bout all this publicly...sigh

Am i too conservative or they are too open? Perhaps the world has been evolving but i am still stagnant at where i am....

Pathetic Guy

Recently i encounter with a pathetic and annoying guy that acts as if he knows everything and try to argue with me over any single thing juts to prove to me that he is smarter then me, he is a colleague of mine. I really dunno why is he so envy of me, he was shocked that i earned my Law degree at the age of 22. He always claims that i only know the substantive law and i have no knowledge of the practicable aspect of the law. This shows how stupid of him, statues and case law are the black letter word of law. Without that there is no law. i was wondering what would happened to the judiciary and legal system if all the arising dispute are not based on the written books.

He is 34 years old but look like 40 plus with a lot of white hair. He just got married recently as he pregnanted her. i have no say and comments on the reason behind one getting married after all this got nothing to do with me but the most annoying part was that he was boosting on how much money he spend for the wedding. Could you believed that after a month of the weeding ceremony he still keeps his wedding dinner receipt with him to show his fellow colleagues on the expenses he had incurred on his wedding as well as a prove that he is has to top up a lot for the short fall.

He had his wedding dinner at "Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant" and that itself cost him RM29,000 with 29 tables which means 1 table cost him RM1000 and the red packet he collected was approximately RM22,000.00 hence he have to top up around RM7000. Since when weeding is a windfall or profit making event , and what kind of mentality is this? stabbing his friends and the invitees back saying that they gave so little. I really think he is so cheap skate, if you really intends to invite people you should not care so much and expecting how much are people going to give you.

Besides that he is boosting that his wife is coming from a "rich family" and he got a lot of jewelery from the wife's side, honestly is this something worth to shouting about, he doesn't have the ability to make the wife proud of him yet he is using the wife's family to boost his egoism. That is so sick man! Gosh i really pity his wife. After all this here comes his father, he claims that his father possesses a 5 figure credit card and many years back he used his dad's card to ordered something via internet and the card and someone frauded his dad's card and here comes all his lame and stupid story which do not require any further explanations.

The funniest part is that after all his boosting he ended up in Cameron Highlands for honeymoon with a lot of complaints about the expenses incurred there as he thinks that it doesn't worth the money. I think he is just envy that i am going to be a lawyer hence he always gang up with a few fellows who are his so called "close" friends" that always gang up to argue with me. Whatever it is i wouldn't be working as a banker forever as i have many options open and something to be glad that i will be a professional soon unlike him staying in the bank forever despite the fact that his boss doesn't like him but there is nothing in him that can brings him away to greater heights.

I know my blog is very chronic and need to be supervise under the Intensive Care Unit. The problem with me is not that i am lack of inspiration to write, the problem is that i am lazy to update despite the fact that it only take me a little of time to do so.

This will be my last entry for the year of 2007. Time really flies and today is the last of the year and a brand new year is just at the corner waiting for us. A lot of people asks me, what do i expect in the year of 2008 and am i excited to enter the year of 2008. I seriously don't have anything in mind of what do i want to achieve in the coming year. Passing my CLP examination is something that i want to achieved but i ain't too optimistic about it looking at the passing rate and the rumors of the quota system.

To me every year is the same, there is nothing much that i have in mind in this coming year, you can say i am a mundane person. Just a little of reflection for the year of 2007. The main highlight of the year of 2007 is that i earned my LLB degree. Besides that i thank God for His tremendous blessing that he have showered upon my life.

P/s: One of my new year resolution is too update more frequent in the coming year. I am not that ambitious to sit down and come out with a long new year's resolution because i know myself too well that 90% of my resolution will not be achieved and i started to wonder why are those people so free to come out with the resolution which they know they will not achieve it at the end of the year. Waste of time!! (Sorry for the sarcasm)

Anyway i wanna take this opportunity to wish all of you guys have a wonderful New Year and may this year be a remarkable and memorial year for you all. All the best for this coming year as i know many of you guys will be working this year no longer can enjoy your student life....haha. Have a blessed New Year folks.

Graduation

Last Monday was my graduation after 3 years in law school but of course this is not the end as i still have 1 more year to go for my Certificate in legal practice exam which is schedule in July next year.

This graduation brings me back to the past. I am not a good student and never can be a good student who will always think how give the best and get the best result in public exam nor school exam. The importance of education wasn't an issue to me at all and i have no idea what i wanna be and what i what to do after my SPM. I skipped most of my classes in form 4 to sell hand phones which was owned by my family back in my hometown (Sg petani) I only attended class 2-3 times a week that is also sleeping in the class.

If some of you wonder how come my school didn't expel me from the school, the answer is very simply....because i am smart. Just joking. The answer is very simple, i always lied to my parents that there is some stupid thing going on in my school and no teacher coming in and it just a waste of time to attend class and tons of excuses hence i will write a letter on behalf of my parents in explaining why i was absent from school.

I really enjoyed the live as a hand phone seller at that point of time lingering around the shopping mall and mixing around with people coming from different backgrounds, going for mamak after work etc. My parents and my sister were not too happy about it and thinks that i have lost track on my studies and i should put a stop to all this, of course i am furious when they stop me from going to the shop by saying that i know how to arrange my time as i brought books and study there but honestly no one is so dumb to believe in such a lies. Despite the objection i still carry on with it.

So my family member decided to shut down the shop as the business that time wasn't too good and they have no way to stop me from doing all these nonsense. So after all that i went back to school in form 5 and i just realised that i am way behind the syllabus and i no nuts in the class hence i wasn't too optimistic about my SPM whereby i only studied the last 2 months for the 2 years syllabus. My mum was telling me if you could not get through your SPM or you can't qualified yourself into any courses i will give you some capital to do business.

That time i was really terrified on my upcoming result knowing how little i know and i checked out all the courses requirements and i seriously doubt that i will qualify i.e getting a minimum of 5 credits. Thank God that i was blessed with 2A"s and all credits except for my maths and this explains why i am doing law. god has been good and blessed me tremendously in all my exams from SPM till my LLB. For those who knows me well will know how little confidence i have in all my exams and preparing myself for a resit or referral every year without fail and it turns out to be better then what i expect.

I got myself a phone on Saturday (will blog more about it later) and i started to imagine myself standing at the booth selling hand phones from morning till night earning so little. Please don't get me wrong i am not looking down on other professions as need each others in this society. I really thank God that i don't have to stand there . I never expect myself to be a Second Class lower division law graduate from University of London and most of my friends and teachers are so shocked when they see me or hear what i am doing now.

The Age Of Ignorance.......

A colleague of mine shared a very sad story with me after wondering why she looks so down and sad for the past few days. She asks me whether my previous firm handle divorce cases since she has a friend who wanted to get divorce. (Usually the friend is themselves). Sadly to say not many firm wants to do family law because it is very lengthy and not profitable.

Within a few seconds she asks me whether do i have any idea about the divorce petition since i am a law graduate. To be honest i am not too familiar because i did External Programme from Uni Of London but i do have some knowledge about it when i compared our system with the U.K system with my friends in the local universities. She only got married in Jan and now she wants or contemplating to petition for divorce because she could not stand her husband having an affair with a Vietnamese girl. The saddest thing is that she only found out after she got married.
According to her the affair has been going for quite some time. Her husband even introduces her to his family member, and the Vietnamese girl is staying at her grand in law's house because her husband admitted to the hospital due to some muscles problems. She cried her sorrow to her in law and the rest of the family members but they are not on her side yet trying to justify her husband conduct by saying it is normal for a guy to have extra marital affair.

She is very depress and had sleepless night thinking and talking with the husband in see how to solve this matter but the husband said he will try. This is just a lame excuse, he said that too when she found out that he is having an affair with this girl. She is just like a zombie that comes to work everyday, she loves the husband very much and she say her husband care for her very much too and they have been together for 7 years so it is utmost difficult to let go a relationship that you have build together in a split second.

She asks me what do i think about her husband conduct? knowing me i am very blunt with my words on certain matters, in my humble opinion i told her this is something that i could not condone. Not pretending to be a saint, i seriously think that it is really bad enough to have an affair outside but this is worse because he brings the girl home some more. I really think this is too much and he don't even show some respect on the marriage by doing this. I could not tolerate someone who is unfaithful and what disgust me more is when i think of him having sex with the girl and come back to have sex with her. Since thing has come to this stage what else can you do despite the feeling and love that she has for him. At the end of the day things don't works on one side.

The amazing part is that she say i though you would justify my husband act since i am a guy, i think that is a bit too ridiculous, being a man and agreeing on something which is not right is really two different thing. The general perceptions among the same group of people doesn't justify something from wrong to right. What shocked me the most was that she say she doesn't mind if her husband i flirting and sleeping around outside so long as he doesn't bring him home because to her guys are like that. What matters most is that he is he still comes home and knows that he has a family. I thought this kind of thinking only happens in the days of ignorance or the feudal age...sigh. I really wonder what is the purpose of marriage if this is the case. I am utterly disappointed with this kind of view and thought which has contributed to the downfall of the marriage institution.

So she is going to move out and calm herself down and think what to do next. The funniest part is that she say she don't want to divorce like this because it will benefit that girl in the sense that her husband will remarry. To be what is the point? Do you still want this kind of people to be your spouse? There is no point if his heart is not with you. What is there is only his physical
body. I am seriously disappointed with her that she can still tolerate and compromise with this injustice thinking that the husband will know she is the best and come back to her. This only will happened in the drama and not real life. How many girls to come after this? This will never cease when he has sip this kind of thought in his mind.

SEREMBAN......

This year is the first time i didn't go back to S.P during the festive to avoid congestion so i spend my holiday in K.L and i am pretty occupied during this long holiday and had a lot of fun too. I attended a church seminar on Saturday morning till the late evening, whilst on Sunday i went to church and ShaSha a friend of mine suggested for a movie since we are on our way to Ikea for lunch and we managed to catch Chuck & Larry, after that we went to Ikea to have our late lunch and walk around.

The last but not least we (Anuja , Joy, Merlvyn and me) made a trip to Seremban to visit Ken since i promised to make a trip there before he leave to Batu Pahat . Anuja doesn't want to drive because of the roads in Seremban so all of us went there by using the KL -Seremban express bus.

Anuja is showing a "mau lawan look" whilst Joy is so engross with her Law of Trust till she doesn't know what is happening. sigh.

My Friend Ken picked us up at the Terminal One Bust station from seremban and this is the view in the town.

Since there is nothing much to do in Seremban and there is nothing interesting so Ken suggested to make a trip to Port Dickson since it's only 3o mins away from Seremban, We got lost on our way to beach because none of us know the way but we discovered a fishing village.

After asking the fishermen for direction, we managed to get to the beach, and i forget what is the name of the beach and there are a few beaches there. We went to the beach behind the Methodist center.

The guy in black is our photographer for the day, i brought my camera long but i it ran out of battery so i didn't managed to get any photos. Thanks Merlvyn for the photo.

As we are heading back to Seremban we saw there is another beach and its tea time so we decided to stop by to have our Seremban Siew Pao but it was drizzling and we couldn't get any shelter there so we left in about 30 mins time. Merl is trying to post like the Bollywood stars in the Hindi movie...lol. This is the view of Seremban from the 9th floor from IMU hostel.
Out of curiosity we went to IMU hostel to check out the place and to have a peep at Ken's room but he had six sense that we are gonna trash his room so he locked his room...sigh!

We went to Jusco and its still quite some time before dinner and we dunno what to do, while walking pass an arcade Joy suggested to play pool.

waiting for our dinner at Soon Fatt and everyone is starving waiting about 40 mins for the dinner to be served and its full of MSG, it makes me to thirsty and my throat gets so dry in the aftermath, besides that the price is quite reasonable thou.

Prouncement of Chuck & Larry

I managed to catch a movie today after so long till i can't when was the last time i watched a movie in the cinema....I watched "I Pronounce you as Chuck & Larry. It was starred by Adam Sandler & Kevin James. If you were asked me to rate this show i would give 4 starts. Its really hilarious and i can't stop laughing for the 2 hours. This show is so different from from those usual starred by Adam. If you were to compared this show to Transformer, Resident evil etc of course this will not be able to come up to the standard but i guess the nature of the movies are different too la. I did enjoy myself and think its worth the money. By the way this is a very good show to destres better than any anti depression pill like anziepam.

This show is about 2 firemen cum buddy who registered as a civil partner to enjoy the state benefit and the stories go on how are they covering up this lie. Seriously i am not a movie crticic so i really dunno how to comment on it. So do drop by comments to enlighten me a bit.....haha

My new Toy

Canon Ixus 75

This Canon Ixus 75 is my first toy i bought for myself with my own salary without being subsidize by my parents so i feel a bit heartache because it cost me RM 1,100.00. For your information i am really not good at this tech savy stuffs and i really have limited knowledge about all these stuffs but this time i have to buy it for my Convocation on the 26th Nov 2007 because i don't have a digital camera. If you wonder why, the reason behind this is very simple becasue i don't like to take pictures and so i don't see the need to have 1 digital camera. A friend of mine suggested that i can borrow from my friends because i only gonna use it for once but i don't fee nice troubling people and secondly i can't always borrow from others and thirdly what if i spoilt it. So i decided to get one for myself at least i can used it in the future.

Tomorrow is Hari Raya Adil Fitri, i would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Muslims friends to have a blessed Hari Raya. Most of the people in the city has gone back to their hometown and the city become so quiet and peaceful just like a giant is sleeping in its wonderland. Not only that, most of us are just in a holiday mood and i just switch off in the office today, can't wait to have such a long break which we don't have in the usual time.

Even i am not celebrating Raya but my mind just can't stop playing some visual on how my Muslim friends are going to celebrate this eventful festival. A month of fasting has finally come to an end and it is time to celebrate it. I was visualizing how Muslims practice the custom of visiting each another in their traditional costumes and the joy of meeting up at a time to catch up with relatives and friends as well as having the ketupat. I was so nostalgic to recalled the last time i was invited to my friend's open house.

Most of the folks has gone back to their hometown for this long holiday but this time i didn't go back because i couldn't get a ticket back and i am really tired of rushing with the crowd and the traffic jam as well as the pain of going back at this peak season hence i decided not to go back time although i miss home very much. What is my plan then? I don't have much plan because i am being deprived of so much of sleep so this is the opportunity for me to catch up with my sleep and perhaps spending some time for myself despite the busy schedule i have.

Yesterday was my last day in my office and i tendered my resignation without any prior notice to my fellow colleagues as well as my boss because i wanted to tender my resignation upon receiving my salary fearing that they might not wanna pay me because i am only planning to serve a 24 hours notice instead of 30 days as the letter of offer required. After much of a consideration i thought of just leaving the firm like this if in any event my negotiation on my early release fails but thank God everything goes well and i leave happily.

Of course some of my colleagues got very shocked and upset on my sudden resignation because they do not expect me to leave without telling them and they wanted to have lunch with me as a farewell too me. My apology and i apologize to all of them earnestly. Although i complaints almost everything about my office and my dissatisfaction working there but i gained something in return which is i have a good bunch of colleagues who always stand by me to hear my cry of dissatisfaction or even anger.

If without them i do not think i would be able to stay until today. I wanna take this opportunity to thank all of you here. From the picture above you guys can see how that we really that we can really have fun even thou we come form other backgrounds, races and religions. It is so sad to leave my fellow colleagues, if you were to ask me what i miss the most in this office is my fellow colleagues.

It is so difficult for me to get to know my new bunch of colleagues in my new office this Monday not knowing how are they and to get bond to them...sigh. It is really horrified to start work at an alien place where you knows nobody. I wish my old colleagues is joining me there....what a wishful thoughts.

Pork

Pork has become the main course for most of the Chinese food and it is not doubt that Chinese likes to eat pork. Of course i have a friend of mine who doesn't eat pork at all with an unknown reasons behind it...haha.

Thou Chinese likes to eat pork but that doesn't mean that we do not have to take into account others religions and races which prohibits them from eating pork. Furthermore we are living in this multi racial and cultural country. I was caught by shocked knowing that my colleagues tar pau non halal food and eat in my office which is a Muslim company. With curiosity i posted a question " can we eat pork in the office"? Why not. Of course at the first glance that doesn't seem to make sense because there are so many Malays in the office.

This has been going on for quite some time already in the office till one day my boss's wife who is working there too found out about this and she got very furious about it and scolded the boss P.A for being so insensitive. I do not blame her for that but most of the non Muslim thinks that she has over reacted. Of course those non Muslim are too much also too, they used the same forks, spoons, cups, bowls, plate etc that the Muslim used. The worse thing is that there is a Chinese lady who like to do marketing during the lunch time, bought raw porks and stored inside the fridge. Isn't that too much?

Nobody stops them from consuming porks it is just that they are advised not to eat and bring anything that got to do with porks in the office. What is there to be mad and furious about when you are told not to have pork in the office since we still can have it outside the office. Again i always think that we have to respect others culture.

The lesson that we learn today is to be more sensitive about others and not just look at ourselves.......

Brokeback Mountain

Sorry for not updating my blog so long cos i really don't have the mood and the fire i used to had for blogging for the time being and i realized that this fire is gonna blown out soon....haha. Further i am in the transition period of adapting myself from the substantive English law i used to to study for the past 3 years to Malaysia Procedure Law now which makes which challenges my mind and mood as well.

I have a question to asks, is it really wrong for a guy like me, 22 years old not to have a girlfriend or never had one before? Why are everyone around me so worried for me and starts to speculate so much on my gender preference.....Let me make a statutory declaration here that I Steve Chin is perfectly normal and i have no interest on the same sex. Some even says i am picky, choosy, too high standard etc etc. It might be true but at times it's not about being picky it is about the right timing and the right person. Of course you guys don't expect me to find any tom dick and harry to be my girlfriend right......

Again i got bombarded by some questions like:

Don't you feel lonely?
Don't you wanna experience the feeling of being in love?
Don't you feel awkward when all your friends already have gf?

To be honest i do feel lonely at times but that doesn't mean that i have to ease my loneliness in such manner and in the expense of some girl whom i don't like but just to ease my emptiness. Atone point of my life i do think of doing this but alas i didn't do it cos i don't think this is something right to do.

The most common perceptions that people have one guys who are single educated guys is that there must be something is wrong with that guy or else he wouldn't be single for so many years which connotes that you are a guy or some other funny reasons.....why, why, why?

Short Updates

Sorry guys i know i have been missing in action for quite some time, i am kinda busy with works and i am so dead tired after work hence a bit lazy to update it but don't worry i am back. Things goes pretty well and fine with me so there is nothing great to shout about. I had food poisoning last week in a newly open mamak in my apartment. It was really bad, i started of with diarrhea the whole day and the next day i have been vomiting non stop so nowadays i am a bit scared to have mamak food after that incident moreover my sis experienced the same thing too 2 days ago....sigh!

My Certificate in legal practice class will start this Friday from 6.00-9.00 p.m but i would not be able to make it on the first day of my class because i have to facilitate the word for the cell this Friday and i guess this will be my last time doing it because i will have to start attending if i wanna pass this killer exam next year. The reason why i wanna do the word this Friday and skip my class not because i wanna skip class and being lazy but its because i feel that this topic speaks a lot to me and so i really want to know more and learn to meditate on it.

I seriously can't stop thanking God when i count the blessing that he has flow in my life. There is a girl in my office who is only 19 years old taking up law in the same college with me is funding her own studies as her father refuses to pay for her fees because she refuses to do STPM and go to the local university. She has been working right after her SPM and paid all her A level fees herself. I really wonder what kind of parent is this and thank God for my good parents. When i was at her age i am still studying full time and enjoying myself.

I Earned My Degree

I am rushing back to my hometown later so this is just a short updates, going through all the hassles and long waiting for the arrival of my result from London finally i got my result today at Putrajaya, dunno why the college didn't it collect for me.

Finally i earned my degree today (LLB) whereby i was awarded with a second class (Lower Division) on the 1/8/2007 which qualified me to do my C.L.P. I was a bit upset because most of my friends did better than me not in the sense of classification but breakdown. Anyway i should learn how to contended and praise God for that.

After 3 years of hard work i graduated this year but there is a bigger hurdle waiting for me which is C.L.P. Gonna prepare myself for the coming war...haha.

The Time has Come......

After a long waited 2 months eventually University Of London has announced the recipient of the King's Scholar ( First Year Best performance student) in Malaysia. Proudly speaking it comes from my college but again we do not have a First Class Honours student from the University of London External Programme for the 3rd consecutive year.

The usual trend is that the University will announced the award recipient one week in advance so if you are a normal and not outstanding in your result like me will have to stand the agony of waiting for another week. We do not have a fixes day when will the result be out, so the speculation for this year is that the result is expected to come out between the 27th-29th August 2007. Any of these days.

I have mix feeling now, on one hand i am kinda happy that result is coming out because this is the day we are waiting for 2 months after our exam but on the other hand i am petrified, terrified and horrified thinking about the upcoming result. I am really scared that i might get a 3rd class Honours degree which would barred me from taking C.L.P ( Certificate In Legal Practice) If i really get a 3rd class i really dunno what can i do and what to do since i could not be a lawyer anymore and all my 3 years hardwork is down the drain.

The problem with our External system is that we are not allowed not resit in the event if we passes all the papers. Even if you failed 1 paper marginally they will still passed you "Conditionally" and they will you 1 class from the one you are supposed to get. It is hell going through the exam and waiting for the result. I just could not have peace in mind when i think about my upcoming result. It's a week time and i am in my final year nothing can goes wrong this year or else i will jeopardize my future. God please help me!!!

Human are really vulnerable, i am sick.......It has been quite some time that i haven't fell sick. I wasn't feeling very well on Thursday morning with slight sore throat and sneezing non stop, it is not a good sign cos i know i am gonna get sick and as i predicted i got tonsillitis, down with flu, fever and slight coughing. Nowadays seeing doctor is really expensive so i decided to medicate myself cos this is not the first time i am doing it...hehe and it really works.

I have been sleeping for the past few days and most of my friends are enjoying their weekends since this is the only time you have to do your own thing and enjoy yourself whereby you cannot do it during the weekdays because you are working, silly me fall sick at this time without much option left for me i ended sleeping from morning to night but it sleeping does help me to recuperate faster....haha. I rather fall sick on weekdays cos i will be given a M.C so that i don't have to go to work and also to reimburse back the medical fee.

Sometimes i really wonder, why human are so vulnerable and so easily fall sick is there any preventive measures that can be taken, apparently there are many type of vitamins and other stuffs which is sold in the market that seems to prevent us from falling ill but most often then not all those pills doesn't work most of the time so the best way is still to have enough of rest, drink lots of fluid, eat more vegetables and fruits.

This is Jackson, one of my best buddies, it is so nice to see him again after a year. He just finished his 4th year Medicine school in University of Dundee and will be graduating next year June. He reached K.L on Friday morning and going back to Singapore on Saturday night so that is the only time i have to catch up with him after a year. I had an adventurous and tired but fun weekend with him. I drove out on Friday to K.L of course the blur me will always get lost and it takes me so long to get back to the right direction. Besides that my car tayar pancit in Mid valley and we have to changed the tayar. This was the second episode of me changing tayar in a week time and this is Jackson first time changing tayar but we are quite good in fact cos it only took us 10 mins to change the tayar.

"Time waits for no man" is really true and my weekend just flew of like this. The saddest thing is that i am sending him of to Singapore then Dundee for the second time. I really don't like this feeling. You might say i sound gay or anything but i don't care. Seriously i don't know when will i see him again since he will be start working in Dundee next year and he himself is not sure when will he be back again. Applaud should be given to those who invented the internet and communication which makes us easily accessible or communicate even though we are far apart.

Pregnancy Kit..........

This is a pregnancy kid in the range of Rm 9.90-22.00. Nowadays most of the people will check whether they are pregnant or not with the above kit than taking the trouble to check it in the clinic. Today is the first time i went to Watson with a friend of mine to buy the above said item though a lot of you might say it is really embarrassing for a guy to buy this.

The process of waiting is really torturing indeed i really don't like waiting. So my friend is still waiting for the right time in determining whether his wife is pregnant. How many of us here are really prepared to have children in the early stage of marriage? To me i still wanna enjoy my life first and don't wanna be tide up with children yet. Furthermore to me it is easy to conceive but the responsibility of looking after them and ensure that they are properly brought up is the main consideration. Having children is not like buying a car which you can trade in or sell it of if you don't like it but children is different because it will take up 25 years attention and responsibility.

I seriously do not know how is the feeling of being a father of a child and what is it really like......I really do not know what is the thing behind that make him to be so eager to have a child. This what he said, it is good to have children early so that your child will grow up and get married before you get old, i have to agree with that but would not you need a great plan before having child because it incurred a lot of expenses like baby sitter, milk powder, pampers etc.

If you have children so early, how are you going to juggle between your career and work....in the other hand your attention is divided and how could you concentrate on your work if your family is your priority. To me i can only have kid when my career is stable and i have enough money cos i really feel insecure without a stable career and finance. Of course different people have different priority and i do respect those who really wiling to sacrifice for the children

Hari ini saya tiba-tiba terasa nak mengarang dalam bahasa melayu....hehe. Saya terpegun dan terkejut dengan dengan apa yang saya dengar melalui telefon dengan mak saya. Ada seorang yang saya kenal dan mempunyai talian darah dengan tapi dari segi pergaulan taklah rapat sangat tapi tak sangka dia akan buat sesuate macam ini. Klimaks cerita bermulalah dari sini.

Dia memberitahu bapa dia bahawa dia memarahi seorang pekerja di Mc'Donald kerana tidak memberi dia balik baki RM 0.02 sehingga pekerja itu tidak berani nak tengok mukanya justeru itu meminta maaf and memberi balik baki RM 0.02 sen itu. Orang apa ini, tak bertamadun sungguh. Setakat RM 0.02 pun dia berkira sangat bukannya dengan duit itu dia dapat membeli apa-apa pun. Walaupun orang itu berlainan bangsa, tak perlu lah nak maki-maki orang sampai macam itu. Saya percaya pada karma, "buat balik dibalas baik buat jahat dibalas jahat". Bagi saya tak perlulah buat sampai macam itu, dia pun setakat nak mencari nafkah atau pun sesuap nasi. Kalau lah dia ada duit dan berpendidikan tinggi dia tak perlu nak jadi pelayan.

Walaupun kamu ini sedang menuntut di IPTS bakal siswazah tidak memberi hak kepada awak untuk memaki hamun orang and memandang rendah pada orang yang kurang bernasib baik. Pekerjaan seseorang tidak seharusnya dijadikan sebagai pengukur tahap kehormatan seseorang. Walaupun orang itu tidak berpendidikan tinggi, tidak bermaksud kamu tidak perlu menghormati dia. Setiap pekerjaan memainkan peranan yang penting, cuba bayangkan semua orang nak jadi professional siapalah yang nak jadi tukang sampah, pelayan dan sebagainya. Tanpa mereka busuklah rumah kamu ini oleh itu hormatilah setiap individu yang berkhidmat dalam masyarakat ini.

Sedih sekali ialah dia mendapat pengiktirafan daripada bapa dia yang memuji atas perbuatan dia. Bapa dia berkata pelayan itu memang patut dimarahi dan perbuatan dia itu bagus sekali. The 30th or 31st is the mark of the end of the month and a new month is coming. What is the significance of it? Previously it is just an ordinary day to me which doesn't signify anything great but now it is kinda different when i start working. When i start working Friday is the day that i really look forward to because i will have 2 days off and i don't have to wake up so early and do whatever thing that i couldn't do during the week. Besides looking forward to Friday i look forward to the end of the month too because that is the day where i got my wages after 1 month of hard work.

Waiting has never been nice because you are looking forward to something which you could not get it immediately. Waiting for the day to get my pay is even more torturing when i realized that i have run out of money and i will only get my pay in a week time. I'm so worried in the sense that where am i going to get the money for my transportation, meals etc. I even feel so insecure to walk out from my house with less than Rm 50 on my wallet wondering what if there is an emergency that require me to fork out the money more than i have in my wallet.

I have been budgeting for a week plus on my meals and try to cut down on my meal because of the very limited money that i have so it was so tough to pull through end of the month when you know that even after you get your pay and deducting all those bills that are waiting for you, you will not have much left. I think every working people is really tight during the end of the month looking at my colleague limiting the money the could afford for their lunch, borrowing money from someone just to pull through end of the month. Work is all about money. Finally after the long awaiting i got my salary today which is not much but it would still enable me to survive.

Tayar Pancit....

Today is Sunday, so as usual i am attending the Sunday church service and i was complaining to my friend yesterday night because we have to leave at 8.45 a.m while the service only starts at 10 a.m. I was a bit rush this morning because i woke up at 8.10 a.m and i have to reach the Bukit Jalil tren station by 8.45 a.m because my friend is waiting for me there.

While we were on our way to church there is a car who honed at us and point at the tayar hence we stopped at the road side checking what is wrong with the tayar and it seems fine to me on the tayar that the person pointing at so we checked the rest of the tayars and we found out that one of the tayar pancit so the driver suggested that she wanna drive to the nearest petrol station and change there but one of my friend called another friend who is on the way to church so he came to us and see what help could he offer. Alas we decided to change the tayar.

To be honest, this is my first time changing tayar because most of the time my dad will be the one doing it but that doesn't mean that i dunno how to change. So we took out the spare tayar and the jet etc. This's my virgin experienced in changing tayar and it is kinda fun although it is tough to loosen the tighten bolt besides that it is fine.

It took us about 20 mins to changed it and we still managed to reach church 10 mins before the service starts so i learn from my lesson today it is better to leave early then late because there are so many unforeseeable circumstances.

Money, Money, Money.....

Money is not everything but without money life sucks. I dunno why am i so broke every month, is it because i overspend or i do n not have a good financial plan. Anyway, not many people understand and know how broke can i be till i have to eat bread and instant noodles for weeks. Many tell me to ask from my parents but that is not the point, if i overspent there is no reason for me to go back and ask right, just like when you finished all your salary you can't asks your boss for more.

Those of my rich friends really don't understand the agony that we are going through looking at the notes in my wallet getting lesser. Sometimes i really wonder how come the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. How come those poor cannot get richer? I wonder how would my life be if i am born in a rich family, of course at the very least i do not need to worry of money, can enjoy my life to the maximum, have a car etc etc but would i be who i am today. Though i am not rich neither poor but i am happy for who i am today but of course with more cash and do what i want and live without worrying about money would be the best.

A lot of people says that "Money is the root of all evils" which i couldn't agree with. It is the matter of perspective, if you put money above every other thing then it would lead you to the wrong path of life. Without money, you are so scared to step out of your house fearing that some unforeseen circumstances that require additional cash that you do not have. Everything is about money, without money you can't even survive so those people who tells me that money is the root of all evils really pissed me of. Again as human we will never be satisfied with what we have because we never cease to compare with others who do better than us.

I wish i would have more money.....hahaha.

Smoking Doctors

While i was talking to one of my friend yesterday night who is a medical officer in one of the government hospital shocked me so much maybe i am just too "Jakun" when i first hear it.

One of my specialist in the hospital is smoking and drinking then i asked, is a she or he? She answered is a she. I was so shocked because to me Doctors are the most health conscious people in the world after mixing with some doctors and medical students.

All around the world there are so many non governmental as well as governmental bodies who tried so hard to ban smoking due the risk which can be seen here . According to my friends there are a lot of medical students and doctors smoke and i was thinking don't they know better of the risk that they are taking and why are they still doing that.

Of course there are many reasons that lead a person to smoke. I was a chain smoker and i really understand the feeling of inhaling every puff of the cigarrate when you are smoking with your friends and when you are stress though a friend of mine told me people uses stress as an excuse to justify smoking but i would not really agree with that because i know everyone has a different way of releasing stress and who are we to say that the person way is not right because we do not know what suits him the most.

People in other profession smoke is still justifiable when they are ignorant about the risk or less conscious about that but not Dr. How persuasive are they when the government carries out the "Tak Nak" campagain when they themselves are part of the smoking community, what a testimony. ( Note: This is not a condemnation or judgment to those Dr's who are smoking) but i just don't understand.

Apa itu erti cinta....

Yesterday one of my friend ask me what is the meaning of love , i was kinda stunt because i don't really have an answer to it. There are many types of love, it can be the love of God, love of friendship, passionate love and family love.

I think the kind of love that most of us are struggling is the passionate love. I teased a friend of mine few weeks back for the courage that he have to confess his love to his girl friend 4 years back to be more specific and they just got married last month. This is what i was told:

I just got to know a few found friend whom i think he is very interesting though he haven't gotten the chance to meet up, in one of our conversation on the phone i found out that he has a girl friend but he didn't really blog and talk about it so all this while i assume he is S.B.A (Single but available) the thing that shocked me the most is that he has been with his girl friend for 6 years. It is not an easy task to maintain a relationship what more 6 years, imagine the level of tolerance, compromise and care that you have to exercise but trust me none of the above that can help you to maintain an ongoing relationship for such a long period without the portion which is called L.O.V.E.

Although some people tell me that the feeling will evaporate after few months, and everything will just become a routine and the so called love that people claimed to be will transformed into commitment and responsibility. However this is something that i could not denied but think about it, is there anything that doesn't come with responsibility and commitment. If there is such thing what will keep a relationship to go on? Love and feeling is really different, feeling it is something you feel it is something emotionally that can be influence by a lot of external factors but that is not love dude. Love is sacrifice and you are willing to do everything just to make the other person happy without anything in return.

To my friend who asks me this Question and who is going to read my blog this is the meaning of love to me. Ini lah erti cinta kepada aku walaupun saya tidak pernah betul betul melalui manis dan pahit cinta tetapi ini adalah sesuatu yang saya nantikan untuk mengajar saya erti cinta.

Tomorrow is the first day of the Certificate of Legal Practice exam, this is the professional exam that all law graduate that have to undergo before they can start chambering ( 9 months practical) before you can be called to the High Court Bar of Malaya and become the Advocates and Solicitor of Malaya.

However this doesn't apply to internal student in the local universities like University Malaya, University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Islamic International University and UITM this is because they have covered their professional exam in their 4 years degree but for those who obtained their degree overseas have to sit for the C.L.P exam.

The passing rate is very low, every year the passing rate is only approximately about 30% in a good year, if it is a bad year it is always less than 20% of passes. This is the craziest paper in your legal studies because they required us to do 5 subjects and some subject have sub subjects inside. These are the 5 papers:

1) Criminal Procedure
2) Civil Procedure
3) Evidence
4) General Paper

- Tort

- contract

5) Professional Practice

- Land
- Bankruptcy
- Probate
- Ethics and Professional practice

It is almost impossible for us to finished all that in 9 months and furthermore everything you answer have to be supported with authorities like your cases and act of parliament failing to do so will render your fail the exam. It is so many cases and acts which it is kinda impossible to memories it. We are not given any examiner's report too so we really dunno what is the areas we have to improved on and they can just test us anything they want whether its within or outside the syllabus. So i wish all of my friends who are taking the exam tomorrow best of luck and hope to see you guys start chambering in October.

Has Justice been done....

Yesterday was a big victory for the murdered cases that has occurred 5 years ago. This case involves a 12 years old boy who stabbed the tuition teacher's daughter 20 times just because she teases or irritated him. Could you believed there is such cold blooded person that can continues the act of stabbing 20 times without any interruption. The Court Of Appeal held there is strong evidence that the Accused which is the boy is liable for the charge of murder and since he is under the King's pleasure and he was a minor when he committed the act hence he will have responsible for the Act committed.

For Criminal charge the burden of proof lies with the prosecutor beyond reasonable doubts yo prove the case while the defence only has to cast the shadow of doubt. First there must be a Prima facie case (on the surface) and the necessary ingredients such as Actus Reus ( act) and Mens Reus (mental state) to constitute of crime but of course there is vitiating factor like automatism, recklessness, insanity and diminished responsibility to reduce the charge from murder to manslaughter ( in Malaysia is called culpable of homicide not amounting to murder)

In humble opinion i see no vitiating factor or anything that will vitiate the murder charge, stabbing a person 20 times it so clear that he is of sound mind and aware of what he is doing or else how can be continue stabbing after the first stab. Further there is no expert evidence to show that he is suffering from any kind of metal illness.

In such brutal murder why isn't he be responsible for what he has done?

Under the law it is justifiable because when he committed the crime he was only 12 years old and the law consider anyone who is under the aged of 16 is consider minor and they do not have any legal capacity and responsibility hence no legal claim that can be brought against them. But is this Fair? It is the bounden duty of the State to protect civil liberties especially minor because they are the most vulnerable want. To me just because you are a minor that doesn't mean you do not have to be responsible for your act when you are able to understand the nature of the act you are doing.

According to A. Dicey there are 3 postulate under the Rule of Law is that everyone is subjected to the ordinary land court of law. Based on our facts when the boy is not subjected to what others will be subjected when they commit the same Act, it make the law redundant and it becomes a "lip mouth service". There is a maxim called "nella pena sine lege" no one should be punished for not committing any crime and in our case when someone committed a crime and don't have to be responsible hence the maxim has to be changed on the other way round.

I am really against the idea that just because the statute is silent and ambiguous the offender doesn't have to be responsible for his own act. Law is only an instrument to governs human behaviour and hence one shall not adhere to the black letters of law per se as Prof Herbert Hart says that there must be a certain degree of discretion in deciding cases because law is an open texture because "Justice must not only be done but it must be seen to be done". Furtermore judges are legally qualified personal who should be able to apply Prof Dworkin theory of interpretation in hard cases like the above mention case.

Although he is not subjected under the Criminal Procedure but he is subjected to the Child Act that doesn't mean that he doesn't he is a free man. The next question is where is the separation of power where the Executives can involves in judicial decision making and hence where is the independence of the judiciary? I seriously think its really silly that the boy are Scott free just because of the drafting which is so ambiguous in the statute.

Although it is a victory to the boy and the defence counsel but what about the girl parent's? How are they gonna seek their redress where law is not on their side? The law is in need of a major reform to avoid such undesirable outcome that has cause such a great injustice and impliedly encouraging minor committing crime when they know that they are not going to be liable. The law grants every individual the right to life so the law has to ensure that no one has deprived others from such rights.

New Resolution...

I am slowly cultivating the spirit of jogging now, most of you know that i am not a big fan of outdoor activities and wonder why am i so "Semangat" to jog recently. I seriously think i am the most unfit one among all my friends and it is kinda unhealthy not to exercise.

For your information i have not been exercising for the past 20 years. I am excused from Pendidkan Jasmani when i was in school cos of some my skin problem that hinder me from exposing to much to the sun and to be honest it was me that asks the Dermatologist to give me a letter that excuses my participants.

After i come down to K.L and i got to know some of the exercise freak and sincerely i got so ashame of myself and feel so inferior when they are so much fitter than me. The first time i went jogging at Bukit Kommenwell Park was few months back when i was coerced into it and i start patting after the first 3 rounds which is less than 1 K.M so i seriously gave up cos i think it is just not my cup of tea although most of my friends who are doing Medicine advises me to live and it's worth doing it but it just couldn't convict me to believe it till i got to know some hardcore who join one marathon after the other so i was so impressed and wish i could finish a quarter marathon by end of this year, this is my resolution. I still remember this boy telling me that it is the will power that matters.

I received so many e mails, calls and SMS recently from my friends who are so concern about my work. Thank you very much. I really hate to update them about it cos it is not something that i am proud of so i decided to blog it here hence they do not need to ask me anymore.

Before i start work, i was really looking forward to it because this is my first time doing attachment or work in a legal form after 3 years of studying Law in a Law school. I went there with high expectation that i will be learning a lot of new things that i never learn before in Law school but it doesn't turns out as i expected. This is my second week of work and practically this is what i am doing everyday:

Photocopying
Fax
Go to collect documents nearby my office
Do some typing
Waiting to go home

I have been doing this for past one week and i am require to work for 8 hours a day excluding lunch but the total hours i am working a day is less than 3 hours so most of the time i am just siting there looking around till i got caught by my manager today and i was asked to see him.

Mr V : Steve, you are very free, i see you looking around, your boss didn't give you work to do is it?
Steve : She got give but i finished already.
Mr V : So you mean you have no work to do now?
Steve : Yupp. I finished already.
Mr V : Everyone here is so busy here, you can't be so free. Go look for Ms. C she will you some
work to do.
Steve : O.K
Steve : Mr. V say i am too free and ask me to ask some work from you to do
Ms C : I am very busy now, i will look for you if i have work for you.
Steve : O.K thanks.

Among all my friends i am the most free want, everyday i just need to show my face in the office doing nothing and all of them are so pretty occupied with checking files, issuing letters. research, reading judgments, research and go to court. They learnt a lot of new things compared to me, practically i am not gaining or learning anything new from my job besides getting the Rm 1100 wages. All my friends complaint that they should be getting the the Rm xxxx and not me as they work harder than me but earn less than me. What an "easy money".

This is what i want at first too, cos my whole purpose of working is to earn money, learning and experience is all subsidiary. I was so happy for the first few days cos i don't have to work and i am paid to sit there but after that i gets pretty frustrated cos it's really boring siting there doing nothing and the time seems to pass so slow and i just could not bear with it anymore when everyone is busy working and i am just siting down there doing nothing, i just feel so hopeless.

I told myself if till end of this month my situation doesn't turn out o be better better i will tender my resignation the the 30th of July and my last day will be on the 30th of Aug because i need to serve 1 month notice. I really don't wanna sit there doing nothing everyday. I hate it.

Is Oral Sex...Sex???

Today the Associate pastor of SIBKL was sharing with us about some statistic in Malaysia. We were told that there are about 80% of the 11 years old boys have or is watching Porn and about 60-70% of those who are at the aged of 13 is having sex (including oral sex)

To some of you who are so innocent till you do not know what is oral sex let me enlighten you a bit. Oral sex is a sexual contact between the mouth and the genitals or anus; fellatio, cunnilingus, or anilingus. A lot of people choose to perform oral sex because they think it is safer, at a very least the girl wouldn't get pregnant.....is this true? Indeed it is true that by performing oral sex you won't get pregnant but there is a high risk that you might be contacted with HIV or even STD. If your partner has been contacted with it.

I heard some stupid Question from my female girl friends like:
1. Will i get pregnant by swallowing the semen?
2. How does it taste like?

The answer to the above is that you won't get pregnant by swallowing it but i have no idea how does it taste.

Many people claims that oral sex is not sex and choose to perform it cos it will not lose their virginity by doing it. To me oral sex is still sex even though it does not involve in sexual penetration but the activity that you have engage in is a clear sexual activity because there is Orgasm and masturbation. So is it just because there is not penetration make it not sex?

I was reading one of my friend's blog, it's pretty amusing. He went out for dinner with someone and a kid, he decided to orders prawn and he slipped his tongue calling the prawn as Porn and shamefully the little boy corrected him without knowing the meaning of Porn. Unexpectedly the boy asks him what is porn? If you were him how would you answer?

Pornography is defined: Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal. Most of us are blaming or pin pointing fingers at the mass media for the birth of pornography and this is absolutely wrong because it has been existed during the civilization. Pornography at that time was in a printed form and the most famous porn book in china during the civilization is called "Kam Peng Mui" while in India it is the "Kama Sutera" and i was told that Kama Sutera can be found in the temple. I'm quite sure that many of you come across those two books (hearing it only please don't interpret further than this)

Some of my girl fiends claims that it is the male that boost the porn industry by buying the Porn Dvd in the night market that cost about Rm 15, subscribe it online as well as the Playboy magazine etc. To certain extent i would agree with the statement because normally girls do not fancy this type of things but that doesn't mean that they don't purchase it. I know some of them do. My friends " only those who do not have a girl friend will indulge in Porn" to satisfied their biological needs and desire. That is not true, while i was walking in the Pasar malam i saw most of them who bought Porns are the old folks around the age of 40-50. For God sake , don't do this when you already have wife and children cos it's pretty embarrassing and perhaps you might have Erectile Dysfunction.Can guys really resist Porn? I would not say no but it is very difficult. Most of the guys will face this challenge when they reached puberty. Most of us during our teens are very curious and really eager to know so this is the point where most of the guys indulge in Porn. Though you might not want to watch or you do not have access to it but with the overwhelming peer pressure (who will not succumb to peer pressure) we will ended up buying it or being supplied by our friends or even take our elder brothers want if you have one. I would say most of the guys have a collection of porn or at a very least watch porn before and mind you it is very addictive so it has been a great challenge if you really wanna resist or stop it.

According to Christian teaching it is not right to watch Porn because it is "Lust" and our body is temple of the holy spirit so it is not right to impurifies it. Besides that it is also will affect your marriage relationship in the future so Christian strongly against Porn in a nutshell.

I was reading this blog and found out that semen can be used as a form of medicine to reduce incidence of Pre-eclampsia.

First Day Of Work....

Today is my first day of working as a Para legal at XXX & Co. I thought it would be a hetic day because legal firm has tons of work for you to do. Apparently i was kinda bored and get a little bit frustrated for siting there doing nothing.

I was ask to be in the conveyancing which i wasn't too happy about it cos the nature of the job is very mundane besides that i was hoping to be in the litigation dept but i was ask to join the other dept which is the Corporate dept and honestly that is not my cup fo tea too but what can i do? I am paid to work and so who am i to decide what i want to work right.

Things are quite O.K. The girl who teaches me and going through all the stuffs with me is very patience and nice as well as my fellow colleagues but i feel so dumb cos all those things are so alien to be and the Officer who intro me to the the colleagues reveal to them that i am a Law Graduate. How embarrassing is that when you dunno your stuffs. They can blame me for that too cos in law school they only teaches us substantive law and not procedural law of course i would not know the procedure and furthermore i am not learning Malaysia law, i am doing English law mind you.

I just hope yo master things asap and of course if i got my degree and i get a better offer i would of course leave the firm. Loyalty and fidelity are stalk nonsense to me. Money is more practical . Sorry i am very money minded...hehe. I will not work But for the money though people says it's the experience that matters but to me is passing the exam is more important than getting the experience hehe. Just hope that i will have works to do tomorrow and everything goes well.

Love Vs Lust

In most relationship there is always a question to be answered, whether this is relationship is out of love or lust. To me this is a thin line which is so difficult to answer. I have spoken to a lot of people, many tell me that this is a package. Love must come with sex because of the physical intimacy that will enhance the relationship. Is this true? I will not answer such question but this is the current culture indeed. I have many friends who have already indulging and enjoy sex life one after the other. To them love comes together with sex that cannot be detached and this is every man's desire and need due to the biological differences.

I have some questions that need to be answered here, do these couples having sex voluntarily? I heard numerous complaint from my girl friends that their boy friend wants to have sex with her and she refuses hence the boy friend's get very upset so in order please their boy friend they ended up having sex despite their reluctantness sex. My question is, what is the excitement when you get married cos you already have sex prior to the marriage so wouldn't you get mundane of it and lost interest to your partner and find someone else for new excitement.

Sad story

Hi folks, i am back. Just wanna congratulate K.K for the Penang Marathon achievement. You gain my respect and i really salute you man. If i were to run i will definnately fainted down in the first one hour.

There is not much of updates on my trip back to Sungai Petani. I missed my bed and the home cooked food so much. Every time i go home i realized that my parents are getting older, and i am really scared that one day they will leave me and i can truly see the sacrifice they made for me. They just can't stop buying and cooking all those foods that i like. I feel so touched! Thank you mum and dad i love you.

I learn something recently, appreciate your parents and your love as much as you can so that you won't regret IF one day they leave you. Just want to share something with you all, i was asked to celebrate my friend's 22nd birthday on the 26th Jun at Auto City ( Somewhere near Juru ) if you are northern people you would know where is it. I promised my friend that i will regardless of what since i "fong fei kei" for 3 years although i am a bit reluctant. The celebration has to be canceled due to:

Woman found dead in monsoon drain

BUKIT MERTAJAM: A 59-year-old woman was found dead in a 0.6m-deep monsoon drain near the Seberang Jaya roundabout with her arms clutching an umbrella.

The body, identified as Ooi Gaik Bee, was spotted by passers-by at 1pm yesterday.

Ooi, who lived alone in a flat at Lorong Tenggiri 1 in Seberang Jaya near here, was last seen by residents at 9pm on Sunday.

She was believed to have fallen into the drain while crossing it in the wee hours of the morning during heavy rain.

Central Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Anil Shah said a postmortem revealed that Ooi had died of a heart ailment.

I was so shocked and devastated reading that message without hesitation i called my friend and she say i am fine don't worry, i am doing something now can i talk to you later. Although i only spoke the mother few times but she is a nice lady,really didn't expect that to happened to her.

So appreciate and treasure everyone around you, whether they are young or old because you do not know when will God calls them back.

Balik Kampung

Superbikes

How many of you here are a big fan of super bikes? To me i wouldn't say that i am a big fan of super bikes la but i do like motorbikes.

I was shocked when i first came down to Kl where everyone starts to drive when they attained the age of 17. U know what, at that time i am still riding motorbike everywhere. I really enjoy riding motorbike then driving although i met with accident on several occasion but i didn't break my bones or anything la but i would still ride cos the feeling is just so nice that i could not resist it despite of the trauma. When i told my friend that Ive motorbike license and i ride motorbike they are so shocked....Are you crazy? It is so dangerous......Everything have risk regardless of motorbike or.....Who knows that you are so unlucky that a car run onto you, flower pot dropped on your head. I believe if the time God calls you, no matter how hard you run you will still have to go back.

It is really fun to ride a super bike to go to all the interesting place and take a lot of photo's back, this will be more fun when you have a group of bikers or your close friend who can join you for this expedition with you.....Every time i go back to S.P i will ride my bike out but it is not that fun cos my bike is a small bike ( not more than 250 cc) I wish i could have a super bike from Yamaha or Harley Davidson

Some of you might be saying that stupid fellow, spending so much for 2 wheelers vehicle which can't protect you from rain and shine. To be honest it is a matter of perspective. Everyone have different value.

Just a little bit of updates, i went for an interview yesterday in a legal firm in K.L for the position of Para legal. The job scope is to help the lawyers on the documentation stuffs. In overseas para legal have a course on itself and they play quite a major role in a firm unlike us here. Para legal are those who cannot qualified themselves as a lawyer and most of them have a degree.

I went there with high expectation that i will be paid Rm 1400 cos my friend who introduces me this job told me that i could ask for this pay cos he was offered Rm1200 2 years ago. I was thinking that it wouldn't be too much right if i ask for Rm 2oo extra due to the inflation and stuffs like that. I told myself even if he says it's too high then i reduce Rm 100 but it turns out to be worse than that.

Manager: Hi

Steve : Hi

Manager: You are applying for the post of Para legal.

Steve : Yes

Manager: What're you currently doing?

Steve : I'm currently having holiday after my final exam.

Manager: Are you the type that are willing and have the passion to learn? If you could perform
well we would offer you a place to Chamber after your C.L.P ( Professional exam)

Steve : Okay.

Manager: You are expecting Rm 1400 but i am not sure whether we are paying so high for
attachment cos you are in the learning process and we are teaching you. (he made a
call) We can only offer you Rm 1100.

Steve : Rm 1200 can ?

Manager: Cannot la if i give you Rm 1200 i will have to made adjustment to the rest too and it
is unfair.

Steve : O.K la

Manager: When can you start work?

Steve : 1st July 2007.

Damm devastated la, Rm 300 difference, of course after i get my degree and someone could offer me better i would ciao la so at the mean time just tahan first.....sigh

Don't you guys think that human is one of the best creatures in the world........seriously when i was having exam i really looking forward for my holiday as i could not take any more stress and just feel like having a long break to chill and thought that i can enjoy my life to the maximum but that only lasted for few days because after that i gets bored.

I wanted to watch all the series and shows that i missed but after a while i don't feel like watching anymore. Catching up with my friends especially those that i haven't met for quite some time is also one of the things that i really wanna do but of course this is the one of thing cos i can't expect to hang out with my friends everyday and this is just the wrong time cos most of my friends are having exam now and some of them are working, some are still in overseas and will only be back here in July.

Although i occupied myself this week with 2 days church conference which i think its very good and i have learn a lot of things from there, meeting my friend as well as helping out in church for some event. Getting myself occupied and having a purposeful holiday is absolutely two different thing. I really do not wish to spend my holiday so mundane. I got some friend who tell me that i am crazy if they were me they will spend and enjoy it kao kao.

I think i am just weird if i got nothing to do and live to freely i feel a bit uncomfortable cos i always think that human must hold on to something and can't just live like a bird. It would be much appreciated if you guys could offer me some insight on how to spend my holiday.

What is Human Rights?

Gosh, i am lack of inspiration to write...sigh! I thought i would have a lot to write after the exam since i have so much free time but this is not the case now.

Do you guys realized that the human rights movement has grown tremendously in recent years in promoting human rights in the early 1990s? My question is what is human rights?? How do you defined it? Could it be defined as something that you are entitled to like right to life, private and family life? inhuman torture etc etc that are being deprived of?

One of the thing that i really wanna draw into your attention is whether death execution is inhuman and has violated the human rights as everyone has the right to life. There are not many countries practicing such penalty today especially those in Europe because they think it is inhuman but on the other hands people would say should not be repay for the life that he has deprived? Indeed this is a very controversial issue that has been going for years. The most inhuman way of execution for me is the execution "tembak sampai mati" in China. I really don't understand why are they practicing it whereby there are so many other alternatives. They have never changed their way of execution from the emperor's time till now it is still so inhuman.

Should death execution be abolished?

To me i would be advocating for such abolishment, because i think it would not be appropriate to have such execution anymore because it will be said as violation of the basic human rights and will be criticized as undemocratic to practice it. Law should use force to emanate compliance because logically would you think of the punishment of the law before you commit the crime? Some perhaps will say yes but i think that is absolutely rubbish when you are so overpowered by an incident that make you lost your ability to rationale things and reasoning you will just act impulsively and do whatever thing that you think it is right at the moment despite it is illogical. Whether or not imposing death execution to certain offenses could not deter people from committing crime like murder.

Let me ask you a question:

1) Died in a prison 30-40 years later.
2) Died in few minutes time.

Which is more torturous?

To me of course is the first one la, could you envisaged yourself spending the rest of your life in prison whereby your movement have been restricted? To me that is the worse thing that could ever happened la because you are separated from the outside world and your life is without purpose anymore and you just live like a dead corpse waiting for the calling "dang sei". Don't you think this would be a better punishment compared to corporal punishment? At least that fellow could ponder the wrong doing that he has done.

We always think bout whether has our rights been infringed have we ever wonder there are more unfortunate people rights have been deprived of and do not even know about it and seek redress.....have we ever thought of those human sex slaves? I was devastated to read and got to know that child sex trafficking still happened today, especially in those countries like Cambodia, Philippine. The children are forced to prostitution at the age of 8-10 where they still have not reached puberty. What is this man.....this people need the protection more than any of us.

Praise God that 3 of my papers were quite ok but unfortunately my 3rd paper (evidence) that was kinda bad which spoilts my mood but still thank god for that. I have lot's of things to do after the exam since my break is 3 months long and of course i couldn't chill for 3 months or else i will die of boredom man. I will start looking for job soon cos i need money $$$$$. I will probably start working in July so at the mean time how i am gonna spend my holiday?

1. Download series and watch.
2. Update my blog frequently.
3. Going back to my hometown soon.
4. Chill with my friends.
5. Read books, novels etc that that are yet to be completed.
6. Sleep....since i am being deprived of for the past few weeks.
7. Tidy my messy room with all the books and notes all over the place.
8. Spend time with my parents.

Roughly these are the main wants la but of course the list can still go on la...hehehe. I really feel so nice and light in the sense that a heavy burden has been lifted up from me and i can see the world is full of colors now, few weeks back my world was so dark man.....Finally, i gain my freedom back although this 3 months i will be worrying for my result too. This is my finals and whether i can graduate or not and what is my classification will be solely based on this....sigh. But know what is in my mind is to enjoy first la.....

Praise Report

This is my praise report for today and mind you this is the first time i do this with joy and a a heart of praise. Usually i will be knocking my head thinking bout what is there to praise about in cell and i will ended up nothing special la!

First, of all thanks for all the Prayers. I am already finished half of my examination battle today, i completed 2 papers out of four. Two more to go on next Wednesday and Thursday then i am done. After that i am gonna enjoy my 3 months holiday and i just can't wait for it to come . Let no deviate, i really thank God that today's paper turns out to be kinda manageable and i could answered all the 4 Questions but that does not mean that i will do well. What i can say is i have done my best and the rest i have to surrender to God.

Like, in my previous post i was so stress of my Jurisprudence paper which everyone consider it to the the toughest paper in out 3 years degree programme and while i was reading through i just could not get the flow and keep on reading hoping that something will stick on my mind. Before the exam i felt that i know so little and i could complete my paper less than 3 hours and the worse scenario that i could think of. I was so scared and don't have much hope on it, i was just expecting 2 question that i could do and the other two i just goreng la......

When i opened the Question paper surprisingly i have 4 Questions there though 1 of it not very strong but still manageable is much better than what i expected. 2 of the Questions that i prepared came out and i was filled with Joy and Praise God for that. Besides that i have to thank Wai Nyan too for helping me in preparing for these 2 Questions. Thank God for sending people to help me.

To be honest i never prepared for exam and i will always go in with only 40-50% of my syllabus and this year i repented cos i don't wanna take God for granted, and ask for his grace to be upon me due to my own laziness, thus far these 2 papers is really a break through to me although there are 2 more to go. I just hope that the 2 more will turn out to be fine. I seriously dunno how would i do and its really beyond my ability to think so i just surrender to God and hope that my result this year will be able to bring glory and praise to him.

I learn something new again through this examination, regardless how sacred are you and how bad you feel that you are not equip for the exam and feel like giving up please do not lean on your own strength because with our own strength we would not be able to do, God has brought me through this difficult time and i started to learn how to trust him more and more. I can't stop singing worship songs and praying to ask for his strength, presence and guidance. This is the song that reminds me about God's promise and i feel so calm listening to it

I also wanna thank those of you guys for the encouraging sms's and the good luck message before my paper. Really appreciate it to much!

Exam Stress

Exam stress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really stress now and that is the only word i can described myself now. My second paper is in less than 48 hours time and i just feel that i couldn't take it anymore and i feel i am so not prepared and i am really SCARED. I could only turn on Jesus now, God please help me!!!! I wanna claim for the promise in James 1:5 and Matthew 7:7-8. I seriously could not take it anymore, i need your strength cos it is only with your strength i could do it and nothing is impossible to you God. Have mercy upon me!!! I need your grace God.. Please hear the cry of your son in need. I never feel so stress before....help i am gonna have nervous break down.

Tribute to Karl Marx

This entry is a tribute to Karl Marx "Father of Communism" because as times goes by a lot of people has misinterpreted him and i seriously think he doesn't deserve such remark. He is a German mix with Jew and was born in Germany one of the holiest city in Germany where it has the most churches in the country.

The fundamental reason of Karl Marx writing this theory is to free the working class from being oppressed by the upper middle class especially during the peak of the Industrial revolution in the 19th century. Charles Dickens in his book "oliver twist" portraits the situation at the moment on how the children are forced to work in mine and factories with without pay of a minimum wages which make them no differences from a slave. They are deprived from education. This happeneds to women and men too where the have to work long hours everyday with minimum wages. Hence Karl Marx come up with his theory that the only way to break out from this oppression is by "Revolution" like what happened in the French Revolution. When revolution success the state's will whitter away and we will enjoy a classless society where by all the wealth will be distributed equally and we only need a minimum state's intervention.

However, unfortunately a lot of people thinks and perceived that the fall of the Berlin Blockade , Warsaw Pact and the collapse of communism in USSR marks the down fall of his theory and his theory has not served any purpose. The fall of the the above mention should not hold Marx to account for it but his followers like Lenin and Stalin. To me Marxism is a very sound theory but it has been distorted by his followers as well as the sphere of ideology from 1949-1990s. As we know that during that era there is a race between the different ideology USA v USSR in spreading the different ideology i.e Capitalism v Communism.

Because of the race communism has become the tools of political agenda and has deviated from Marx original idea because Marx only intended to break the class oppression. Lenin and Stalin has put his theory into practice. They are using this theory in governing people in USSR but this has failed miserably. Working class condition didn't get better but worse when the secret police (chakar in Russian if i am not mistaken) going around persecuting people and the failure of the communal farms as well as the inequality between the peasants and the administrative class as well as their family. Besides that the different political ( Bolshivik v Menshivick) has defeated Marx theory.

So to be fair to Marx, his theory is a sound theory but it could not be applied in this modern world and its kinda difficult to put into practice and he should be accounting for all the afore mention because that is not what he intended it to be. I still think that his theory is a good theory but of course it would not be fair for us to judge him with a 21st century standard whereby he was writing in the 19th century.

I am dying!!!!!!!!!!! My next paper is on the 29/5/2007 "Jurisprudence and Legal Theory" but the problem is i keep procrastinating and have no mood to study and it is so bulky i really dunno what to say and what to do for me to gain the mood and concentration back and this is my final year some more. I ended up study very little everyday and my days have not been fruitful in which could be more fruitful and i blame myself for it but i am still the same....sigh!

But i am tremendously scared for the bad preparation and i told myself i have to repent and give my best for the coming 6 days and i do hope that i will be able to give my best. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to My tutor,friend and mentor Mr Au Yong Wai Nyan for giving me private tuition today on Jurisprudence and i really appreciate it for the troubles that he took as some of you guys know that he is on no pay leave now and suppose to meditate on his CLP yet he took the troubles to come all the way to college. He has been a great friend and mentor to me. He will always lend his ears to listen and to my sorrows and struggles and will always be there for me. He is really a blessing for me and i really thank God for him. He is not only helping me on my juris but he help me a lot in my walk with Christ, i was asking myself how would my walk with Christ without his encouragement and journaling with me for almost 2 years.

I feel that i am so blessed with all those people in my surrounding! I really thank God for that! Thank you Wai Nyan!

Bahasa Melayu

Saban hari sudah tiba dan aku pula tiba-tibe teringin mengarang dalam bahasa melayu selepas membaca keratan Gwen akan tetapi saya sedar bahawa tahap bahasa saya telah menjuman semenjak saya meninggalkan bangku sekolah. Mengarang dan membaca dalam bahasa Melayu telah membawakan banyak kisah nostalgia kepada aku.

kebanyakan daripada kamu yang mengenali saya mungkin tidak tahu bahawa saya bertutur dalam bahasa melayu lebih daripda bahasa Inggeris justeru itu bahasa Ingerris saya tidak beigitu baik jika dibandingkan dengan anda. Saya beerasal dari kedah dan majority penduduk di negeri itu adalah orang melayu tambahan pula saya menerima pendidikan awal saya di sekolah melayu dan lebih kurang 70% rakan sekolah saya adalah orang melayu dan jarang mereka bertutur dalam bahasa Inggeris. Tetapi sudah sekian lama saya membiasakan diri saya dalam bahasa Inggeris saya pula terasa bahawa bahasa melayu saya sudah diabaikan sehingga saya tidak dapat bertutur dengan lancar dan menulis dengan baik oleh itu saya ingin menyeru anda semua untuk menggunakan bahasa melayu lebih kerap supaya bahasa dan kesusteraan melayu yang kita pelajari selama ini dapat diabadikan di diri kita. Sepuluh jari dihulur saya memohon maaf dan ampun atas kecacatan dalam penggunaan bahasa melayu saya.

Food

I don't think i need to defined what is food right, all of us know that we need food and foods can be categorize to many different types, fast food, Chinese food, Indian food, middle east, Italian and the list can go on. We have to bear in mind that no all types of food we can consume, we are prohibited to consume certain types of food.

For Indian they are not allowed to eat Beef, while Malays are not allowed to eat Pork and certain Chinese who worship the Goddess of Kuan Yin are not allowed to eat Beef. What about Christian? Christian are allowed to eat all the afore mentioned stuffs but we are not allow to consume sacrifice food. Sacrifice food means that food that are being offered to ancestors and idols. This is what the bible says:

1 Corinthians 8:1
[ Food Sacrificed to Idols ] Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all possess knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

1 Corinthians 8:4
So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world and that there is no God but one.

1 Corinthians 8:7
But not everyone knows this. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat such food they think of it as having been sacrificed to an idol, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled.

What happened to me was my sister brought some fruits back from her office and according to her that the fruits was from her colleagues because she could not finished it. According to the Indian memorial service, guests will usually bring flowers and fruits hence she got a lot fruits at home which she could not finished it. When my sister told me that i was a bit cautious as i know i should not consumed sacrifice food although i can provided if i prayed before consuming it but the best way is not too and my stand is not to take it too.

My sister insisted that she says that she didn't use it to offer sacrifice or any form of spiritual ritual so she cut all the fruits before it turns rotten and she gave me some of it and i took her word for it and consumed it but after that i felt a bit uneasy so i called one of my Indian friends. I was told that putting the food in front of the deceased picture is actually offering sacrifice and i dunno really know whether what i consumed is being offered as sacrifice or not but i am pretty sure it was...sigh

So tonight i have to pray for forgiveness and ask God to cleanse away the food, the funniest part is i didn't or maybe forget to say grace before i consumed the fruits although i am cautious about it. Rule of thumb remember to say grace before you consume any food and do not take the food which you are not sure whether it is clean....

Tiring Day

Hello guys! I'm so sorry for not updating my blog for quite some time recently cos i am having my exam now and i just finished my first paper which is law of succession and it turns out not to be too good not too bad so praise God for that. This subject is very bulky compared to the others because it is case law based which is ( decision by the courts ) and the bulk of the subject matter it its killing me and i felt so panic the day before the exam and keep telling myself that i couldn't take it anymore. In such a circumstances who can i seek seek of course it is God i was praying through out the day and play soft worship song and i can really sense the presence and the peace in me. While i was on my way to the exam center which is UUM City Campus in Chow kit i was thinking how bad could the paper be and how many questions could i answer and how much could i write etc. Those were all the questions in my mind and i really get terrified and i prayed again before the exam starts and i turn out to be quiet good or maybe i should used the word manageable. I am kinda over confident or prideful person, most often than not i will think that i am capable of copping with the pressure and workload that i have and i believe and trust myself and most of the time excluded God from the picture but this whole incident really thought me that we still need God and he is almighty and prayer do works and i witnessed the power of th e prayer man. To be is regardless of how capable we are we still have to trust and believe in Him and this songs makes a lot of sense to me which starts like "trust and obey there is no other way to be happy in Jesus is to trust and obey" Please inform me if anyone of you know the title.

I am so tired man after straining my brain in the exam hall for 3 hours and to recall back what i have studied in the past 9 months. There is always sorrow and joy in an examination. Some of my friend were very happy because what they spotted came out and some of them who did not do too well were crying and i started to ask what is the real purpose of an exam.......is exam the yardstick to determine our knowledge. Is that mean that if you don't do well in your exam that makes you a lousy person in whatever field that you are trained. Would it be fair to determine a person's knowledge and ability by a short 3 hours exam but again this is the only way although to me which is highly doesn't make sense.

I was having dinner with two of friends just now and this is the first time i feel that i am interrogated. I was interrogated as to whether i have somebody in mind.....of course i have and i believe that everyone will have someone in their mind irrespective of whether it is infatuation, admiration etc etc hence i am of no difference too. To me it is kinda private at times and things have not even progress yet or when you are still contemplating it is kinda difficult to share and tell others cos it might be a crush or love. So i always keep quiet on this matter when come to this matter. Besides that there are a lot of considerations. Starting a relationship is not as simple as doing some shopping cos it affect two persons life as well as others in our surrounding so it must always be more cautious on this matter. I know some might consider this act coward or even lacks of guts but it doesn't matter to me as long as i know what i am doing and i don't wanna do something out of peer pressure or impulsively.

I am very tired to continue writing although i have lots more to share with you guys, i will update it more often.

Choice

William Shakespeare "to be or not to be is a matter of question". In our lives and the world we are living we are often face with choices and decisions. Life is always about making the right choices and decisions. We often claim that we are not given a choice or we don't have a choice to justified our action and inaction without realizing that it is all voice down to a simple question, are we willing to make a right choice. Making the right choice in life is very important because it will shape or impact our life every much beyond what we can envisaged.

For example, when a thief stole a canned of milk or even a loaves of bun because the childrens has not been eating for days hence he need to steal before all of them die of starvation. Is this justifiable and does he really given a choice? In any moment of our lives we are faces with choices. The thief can ask the permission from the owner, seek help from friends,welfare department before he chooses to steal so life is always about making a right choice at the right time.

I was told not long ago that a friend of mine was charged with trafficking estacy pills and was sentenced to jail. I was wondering what are the motivation behind him that make him to have such a big courage to do that but what it is the reasons behind it has became irrelevant because he has destroyed his life with his own hand with the decision he made. See the importance of making a right choice and how does it changed your life when you make the wrong choice. A lot of times it is not whether do we have a choice but is more like do we want to to make the right choice.

In every seasons and of our life we are face with choices, just like when we finished our SPM we often given a choice i.e whether to enter into college or continue with STPM, work, life style etc etc. Make a right choice is always a difficult task and it will never be easy and i really wonder what is the yardstick to measure the correctness of it? Is it based on our own standard, moral standard, society standard or religious standard. Does following the norm make it a right choice and decision? The controversies of pre marital sex........It has become the norm of the society and the society has largely accepted it does that mean it is right? As a result as pre marital sex, teenagers as young has 14 need to go for abortion again it voice out to choices.

So, think and weigh all the consequences before a making a decision and don't make yourself regret when you look back at it. There is no point regretting since the harm has been done. Do not make an impulsive decision just because at the split second you feel like ding it cos the price to pay is too high. Hope to get the feedback from you all and correct me if i am wrong.

Pain

What is the meaning of pain? Pain is defined as follow:

Mental or emotional suffering or torment.

Physical suffering or distress, as due to injury, illness etc.

How many of us really know what is the meaning of pain? Is our knowledge to pain only confined to the dictionary meaning as stated above. I just feel that at times that we are too blessed with our comfortable life till we really forget what is the meaning of pain and care for those who are suffering around so. We even complaint about every single thing in our life which we think it is so unfair and not happy with but on the other hand have we given a second thoughts about those who are 10 or 2o times more unfortunate than us? We often compared ourselves with those who are doing better than us whether it is financially,studies,career etc but we do not compare or think bout those that are less fortunate. When we think about them we should be very thankful to God for the life style we are enjoying now.

How many of us here really understand the pain that those people we are undergoing? We often claims that we understand but do we really understand their situation or we just act as if we understand and make it as a topic in our bonding time and the saddest thing is that we don't even think and care about those of them who are suffering out of drought,pain,poverty etc because we only think and care about ourselves. At times we just say that is none of my business and we can even laugh and made the statement that "too bad blame God for their misfortune". I seriously feel agitated when i heard people saying this, although we could not help much but at a very least please do not make such a statement or even if it is possible do keep them in prayer.

We always claim that we understand how do they feel and how tough is it but is that true? Trust me no one will understand fully on how a person feel when we are living in a comfort zone and have not life in such a situation before. Visualizing and going through it is very different. For example a husband will always tell the wife i know giving birth is very painful but the husband will not be able to know how pain could it be and how is the pain like because imagining is different form those who is going or has gone through it.

The most irritating thing is when we do not know how pain could it be and have not gone through it but we tends to judge the person misfortune and even try to rationalize it with our thoughts. Come on this is not going to work and who are we to judge the person misfortune just because we always thinks we know in fact we do not know anything at all. We are just acting as if we know. Another example we claim that we know how precious vaccination is in Africa and through the vaccination we know how many life's could be saved but it will not be the same like those who are in Africa because we only know through our head knowledge and not through our heart and experiences.

So when we really don't understand people's struggle please do not comment so much on it at times the person just need an ears for someone to listen to him and that would be the best things that you could do for him at the time. The purpose of this entry is to remind us that not everything think we know we really know and try to be more understanding rather than being judgmental because a lot of things could not be seen on the surface.

Hello everyone!!!! How are you guys? It is so weird right that Steve is blogging now. Please don't ask me why? I just feel the urge of blogging now though i know i always tell people that blogging is a waste of time.

This is my first entry so please spare me if you guys thinks that this blog is a bit boring. I seriously don't have much inspiration to write now. I recently feel that having the courage to talk and speak out in the right time and right place is very important. We Asian always have the mentality that keeping quiet is the safest things to do. Talk less and do less so that you will not do so many wrongs. On the other hand i really respect and admire the courage the westerners have in them that they can just speak out and straighten things out without and hesitation but we Asian will have so many WH Questions spinning in our mind before we are able to speak. We will be thinking if i asks such a question what will people think about me? Will they think less of me and what type of impression i am giving them etc etc.

At times keeping quiet and talk less is good but it could be detriment as well since everything have both sides especially when you have dissatisfaction in you. The dissatisfaction will mount up in you and as time goes by it will lead anger and hatred when things are not in a good terms and we will just tends to speculate and think less of the other person to boost our character and personality. This is just a point to ponder, is it really worthy to lost a friendship, lover, trust etc just because of something inside us that has not been cleared.

I know that confrontation takes up a big courage but it is worth to do so when you really treasure and appreciate a relationship. If the dissatisfaction in us is not dealt with care it will turn out to be hatred and subsequently lead to revenge. At times when we really hate someone we just tend to prove and react in a manner to show the person that without his or her presence or companionship we could still live on. Seriously life is yours why would you wanna let your emotions and anger to dominate and take control of your life. Though we might convince people that we are not but of course we could not deceive ourselves since no one know us better than ourselves. We already become the slave of anger and revenge because in every moment of our live we would be thinking like how can i show her him or her that i could live on so well or even what can i do to let him or her to taste back his or her medicine. Seriously asks yourself what would you get out of it? are you really happy? If the emptiness is not dealt with regardless what we do we will still feel lonely.

Life is already so hard and difficult so i really don't hope that we add on burden in this wonderful life. Life is short so appreciate and treasure everyone around you and do not do something that when you turn back and look in 10 years time that will make you regret. Prevention is always better than cure.
